Awake to Woke to Work®: Building a Race Equity Culture™ Open Enrollment Workshops

We offer virtual open enrollment workshops on building a Race Equity Culture™. The first module is training on the Race Equity Cycle® framework for organizational transformation and the second module is a deeper dive into operationalizing equity.

Organizational Equity Cohort (OEC)

The Organizational Equity Cohort (OEC) will meet teams where they are in their equity journey and offer three critical resources: Community, Toolbox, and Learning While Doing. This cohort will not only help you put equity into practice in your organization, but will also help you develop a stronger strategic direction to navigate whatever lies ahead.

Race Equity Cycle Pulse Check™ Cohort

In September 2023, EIC launched the first Race Equity Cycle Pulse Check™ Cohort designed to provide organizational teams with coaching and capacity building support as they complete the Race Equity Cycle Pulse Check™ and work to develop an action plan based on its findings. Indian 101

The general population knows very little about the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island — even the most basic topics are often grand mysteries. This, of course, is by design, as the colonial project has prioritized the complete erasure of Native people for centuries.

Understanding Cultural Humility

This workshop is for indviduals who are curious and commited to continuing their Race Equity Culture building journey beyound the process of cultural competency by moving towards the expansive personal journey of adopting cultural humility as a mindset.

Cultivating Critical Hope

This course offers an opportunity to rebuild and maintain the hope that is crucial to our survival as a nation and your ability to stay in the fight. This session isn’t peddling in toxic positivity or saccharine disillusionment; instead we pair a critical analysis of systems and culture with the assurance and reminder that the people will always prevail over oppression.

Land Back Land Ack

This class will introduce participants to the history and purpose of land acknowledgments, why they are important, as well as how and when groups and individuals should practice them. There are appropriate and respectful ways to deliver acknowledgements and knowing these ways will promote and leave lasting impacts.
